  • What is Edyssey?
    Edyssey is a platform that provides 1 on 1 and group English language courses that emphasise learning, life skills, and astute critical thinking. Our goal is to equip our students with the English language skills and mindset to thrive and take on the world whilst contributing to impactful causes.go to app settings and press "Manage Questions" button.
  • What courses does Edyssey offer?
    Our courses use Phenomenon Based Learning to interweave subjects to explore everything from politics and football, to music and well being, to coaching and personal development — and to immigrant integration through the English language. We give you a unique learning space, with qualified teachers, available to you from the comfort of your own home. You'll steadily build confidence in your English reading, writing, and listening skills, and our teacher-led classes will particularly develop your all-important speaking expertise.
  • Is online learning as good as face-to-face learning?
    We believe it may be even better. Online learning is increasingly popular nowadays. It gives you more flexibility, self directed study options and gives you opportunity to have the same instructors and teachers and get more resources out of them. We offer you live teaching and instant feedback, anywhere, anytime.
  • What equipment do I need to study online?
    Our platform is available via a web browser. To ensure you have the best experience on our platform, we recommend that you download the latest version of your browser, Flash Player and Java software for free from the internet. You'll need an internet connection, laptop or Mobile phone and devices like microphone, and speakers or a headset to join the sessions on zoom.
  • Is there a minimum age for attending an online course?
    Edyssey offers courses for all age groups, but you need to be over the age of 13 to use our website.
  • Can I choose my own schedule?
    Our classes run Monday to Friday. For 1 on 1 sessions you can choose a day in the week that is suitable to you but for Group classes you need to attend the scheduled classes of the course available or you may show your interest in a specific course or area of improvement and we will get back to you.
  • How do I book?
    Choose your Course - Select a course according to your interests. Either you can select a course from the “Our Courses” page and choose the option of 1 on 1 class or group class or if you already know a course you want to select, you can directly book from the “Book” page. Buy a pricing plan - If you want 1 on 1 classes you can either choose 5 sessions or 10 sessions which will get credited to your account and will get deducted for the classes availed. For group classes, you need to pay for the whole course which is scheduled. Define your Schedule - Once you have bought the pricing plan for 1 on 1 sessions, you can schedule your classes from the calendar. For group classes, you will see upcoming courses listed on the “Course Schedule” page which are already scheduled. If you do not see the course of your interest in the scheduled list, you may show your interest by filling up a form, and we will get back to you when that course is scheduled. Start your online English language course after you have defined your learning schedule with our expert teacher.
  • Can I schedule classes at different time zones?
    Yes. You will be able to schedule your classes according to where you are currently based. Our system automatically shows the time of your zone.
  • When can I start my course?
    As soon as you purchase your course, you will receive all the information you need to decide your schedule and attend your class. Our classes run Monday to Friday so you can choose to start your course any day between that.
  • Can I book a trial lesson before I purchase any plan?
    Yes. We understand that you may want to try before you buy therefore you can book a trial for free. This will be a 30 minutes session. Just click on Book a trial button on the “Home” page and you will be directed to book an available slot from the calendar.
  • What payment methods can be used? What currencies can I use to pay?
    We accept payments via credit/debit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express) as well as Paypal. The acceptable currency is Euros.
  • How many students will be in my class?
    We have a maximum of 6 students per class so that each student gets maximum attention.
  • What if I need extra guidance on any topic from my teacher?
    At any time during the course you feel you require special attention/guidance, you can top up your account by purchasing 1 on 1 session to ensure that you get the most out of your English language course.
  • How do I make a difference?
    Education can help end the cycle of poverty. Our learners play a vital role in achieving and maintaining this mission. Every course you take with us, we donate a percentage of our profits to high impact charities who work to assist underserved communities.
