Edyssey Online Education meets us where we are, through niche 1-1 and group English language courses and coaching that emphasise learning, life skills, and critical thinking. Our courses use a cross curricular method called Phenomenon Based Learning to interweave subjects to explore everything from politics and football, to music and well being, to coaching and personal development — and to immigrant integration through the English language. We give you a unique learning space, with qualified teachers, available to you from the comfort of your own home.
Because we promote literacy and the accessibility of education for all, we donate a percentage of our profits to high impact charities who work to assist undeserved communities. Additionally, we are an inclusive employer which aims to give opportunities to teachers with physical disabilities that allows for accessible work from their homes.

Course creator
Daniel Palmer is the founder and course creator of Edyssey. Originally from the UK and based in Helsinki with his Finnish partner, Daniel previously worked in London on charities and citizen projects for The British Red Cross and Action Against Hunger. As a project manager and English teacher for a refugee and migrant charity, he has promoted language learning, integration, and entrepreneurship; and has worked additionally with people with disabilities in the UK, US and Finland.
Daniel has an MA in Education from Birmingham University, a CELTA certificate in TEFL, and 10 years of English-teaching experience. He also holds a BA degree in Leisure and Sport Management, and is a qualified football coach and life coach certified by the English Football Association and World Coaching Organization respectively.
While volunteering on social projects in India and Uganda, Daniel has seen the social advancement and personal development that come from proficiency in English, and has enjoyed helping students set goals, create confidence, and realize their own educational growth.
